About the Gallery

The Fishermen's Eye Gallery displays only Alaskan artists. It is in Sitka Alaska, a small town with a huge history. The gallery has been family owned in Sitka for over 35 years. It is presently owned by Vern and Ruth Culp. Ruth grew up in Sitka, is a photographer and her grandparents owned and operated the first Sitka photography shop from 1924 to 1972. Vern is a professionally trained graphic artists and has been in Sitka 30 years.

Art lovers and colectors alike will find the Fishermen's Eye Gallery a refreshing treat for the travler tired of made in china gift shops.
